The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the MQ-25 program in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Position Overview: We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer, with expertise in airplane subsystems, final assembly and/or ramp experience, with the ability to work independently. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the needs of an integrated test team for an autonomous development program.

Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing processes and provide quick response for the air vehicle needs.
- Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
- Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.
- May require travel to Mascoutah, IL
- Integrated test need is dynamic and may require schedule flexibility to support emergent needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Experience with Final Assembly and / or Ramp Operations
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model-based instruction
- Experience with Teamcenter and VisMockup
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
- Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)
