Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Family Medicine at Eden

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collegial team of two physicians, one NP, and clinic staff dedicated to providing quality patient care. UNC Family Medicine at Eden is a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults. Our providers take the time to listen and work with our patients to address immediate needs as well as future health goals. In partnership with UNC Rockingham Health Care, our mission is to provide compassionate, cost-effective, and high-quality care for every patient.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Existing physicians have tailored their roles to align with their interest through options such as newborn nursery, adult hospitalist per diem shifts, sports medicine clinic and coverage at local high schools, procedures including ultrasound guided procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, thyroid FNA biopsy, and breast lesion FNA

• Clinic hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00am - 7:00pm, and Tuesday, Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

• Physicians work a flexible schedule of 36 hours seeing patients and 4 hours of administrative time

• Participation in newborn nursery call preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of ACGME accredited Residency Program in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics

• Licensed as an MD or DO in NC or eligible
