Monroe Carell Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt seeks NICU APPs to join a state-of-the-art Level IV neonatal program where advanced technology, academic resources, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a culture of research and continuous improvement support excellent outcomes for newborns and families.

Join one of the worlds pioneering neonatal intensive care programs, founded in 1961 by Mildred Stahlman, MD.
Practice in a Level IV NICU, the highest designation awarded by the American Academy of Pediatrics, equipped to care for the most serious and complex newborn conditions.
Care for medically complex newborns in a neonatal program caring for more than 1,400 babies in the NICU each year.
Collaborate with a 24-hour specialized NICU team that includes neonatal physicians, APPs, pediatric specialists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, rehabilitation specialists, social workers, child life specialists, and other pediatric experts.
Work in a NICU environment connected to advanced neonatal care, ECMO expertise, quality improvement, education, and evidence-based practice.

Join a Level IV tertiary NICU dedicated to complex neonatal care and advanced treatment practices.
Practice in a modern, well-equipped NICU that supports innovative treatments and clinical excellence.
Participate in robust education through monthly NICU APP lectures, weekly NICU-specific lecture opportunities, journal club, quarterly simulation labs, and Vanderbilt learning opportunities for fellows, residents, and APNs.
Benefit from professional time built into FTE, including an annual APP retreat, lectures, simulation, and meetings.
Pursue clinical advancement through a three-tier structure that includes salary increases at different advancement levels.
Work 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, with 24-hour shift providers typically working seven shifts per month.
Access the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for extra work and compensation if desired.
Competitive compensation, including a total sign-on package of up to $25,000 for qualified full-time candidates ($15,000 sign-on bonus plus $10,000 in relocation assistance if 100+ miles from Nashville)
