Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases is highly preferred.

Required Credentials: A radiation badge is required; the agency must provide it. MUSC does not accept NCCT certification.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November; peak: August–September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC. Parking garage: $20 registration fee for a hang tag (no additional garage fees); the hang tag does not cover other parking locations, where additional fees may apply.

Unit Details: The Main OR supports a full variety of cases, and clinicians may be expected to staff that range. Common cases include orthopedic total joints, spine and trauma, neuro craniotomy and spine, ENT flaps, robotics, transplants/procurements, trauma/burns, and GU/GYN.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday rotation is required. Up to 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule period. Up to 4 call shifts per 4-week schedule period.

Floating Requirements: Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units and sister facilities, is required.

14 days maximum time off
