Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1360 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >65 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TalentProcure Program - Ochsner Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 year of experience in a similar medical setting.

Required Credentials: - Graduate from an accepted course in surgical technology certification. - Certification in Surgical Technology (online certification is not accepted).

Unit Details: - Performs direct patient care duties, including assisting physicians during procedures. - Scrubs for surgical procedures. - Ensures appropriate handling and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and ensures availability of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. - Ensures cleanliness/disinfection of endoscopes while maintaining quality control measures.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
