Full job description
Apprentice hours -Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.
Once The apprenticeship is completed, the SPT will be Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm. Weekends on Call only and requirement will be approximately every 5th weekend on call.

Scope of Work
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Interventional Radiology (IR) exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. The Apprentice may be required to perform IV starts and prep patients. The apprentice scrubs in with the interventional physician and practices sterile technique, prepares the sterile tray with the appropriate supplies and assists the physician with procedures, has knowledge of all the supplies needed by the physician to perform interventions
Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Associate’s degree-Graduated from accredited Radiography program required
CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration-ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) Upon Hire-Required.
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association Upon Hire Required OR
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) American Red Cross Upon Hire Required.
