The Opportunity:

The Manager of Creative Design leads VeSync’s Graphic Design and Visual Design teams, delivering the packaging, e-commerce, retail, web, and digital creative that brings new product launches to market across our brands. This role is central to Creative Services’ shift from a task-based service function to an outcome-driven creative partner, measured by launches delivered on time and on brief, creative that performs in market, and a design team that scales output through AI-enabled workflows without compromising brand quality.




What you will do at VeSync:

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Graphic Design and Visual Design teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Shift the team from completing tasks to owning outcomes, empowering designers to make sound creative and executional decisions without waiting for every detail to be specified.
  • Translate Creative Services OKRs into team goals, individual KPIs, and professional development plans.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and career development planning, including defined career paths and stretch assignments beyond current roles.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training, and recognize wins to build a business-driven, development-focused team culture.
  • Build team fluency in AI-powered design tools through training and upskilling.

    • Launch Delivery & Creative Quality

  • Ensure design deliverables for priority new product launches are delivered on time, on brief, and brand-consistent across DTC, Amazon, retail, packaging, and digital channels.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Art Directors to translate creative direction into production-ready design across every format.
  • Run design reviews with specific, actionable feedback that raises quality and reduces revision cycles before final approval.
  • Support visual identity and consistency audits across channels, and drive remediation of design gaps.
  • Step in with hands-on design support during peak periods and high-priority launches.

    • Design Operations & Scale

  • Manage design capacity, resource allocation, and scheduling across projects in partnership with Project Management, rebalancing quickly when launch timing or scope changes.
  • Integrate generative AI image and design tools into team workflows, building templates, guardrails, and best practices that increase speed and volume while protecting brand integrity.
  • Build and manage a network of freelancers, agencies, and external design partners to flex capacity for ad-hoc and high-volume requests.
  • Maintain an organized, reusable design asset library in Adobe to accelerate production and global asset sharing.

    • Commercialization & Business Strategy

  • Partner with the Creative Director to review in-market creative performance, and lead the design team’s rapid iteration on assets that fall below channel benchmarks.
  • Support Retail and Product needs (listing assets, PDPs, trade show and booth design, app and recipe content) with lean resourcing.
  • Operate effectively amid shifting priorities and incomplete direction, making sound calls quickly and communicating trade-offs, risks, and capacity so stakeholders can prioritize.
  • Track team performance and design metrics, and develop KPIs connecting output to outcomes such as on-time delivery, revision rate, turnaround time, and share of workload supporting new product launches.




    • What you bring to the role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 8+ years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 4 years managing designers or creative teams.
    • Strong portfolio of team-led work across branding, packaging, e-commerce, and digital, with examples of the business results the work supported.
    • Proven track record of leading a team to measurable outcomes (on-time delivery, quality, and in-market performance) while managing multiple concurrent launches.
    • Hands-on experience with, or strong working knowledge of, generative AI design tools and how to apply them in a production environment.
    • Ability to use performance data and KPIs to guide creative decisions and team priorities.
    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and project management platforms such as Monday.com and Microsoft 365.
    • Experience managing freelancers, agencies, and external creative partners.
    • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to give clear, actionable feedback.
    • Strong business acumen and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments: scrappy, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with fast, reliable follow-through and a highly collaborative style.
      • Preferred:

    • Experience supporting consumer brands, retail, e-commerce, Amazon, or CPG organizations.
    • Experience building or running pod-based or business-unit-aligned creative teams.
    • Familiarity with DAM platforms such as AEM, and with prepress and print production processes.
    • Direct experience with generative AI creative platforms (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway) and a track record of scaling AI-powered workflows with measurable impact.
