Why We’re Looking
- Adding a second full-time pathologist to form a two-physician pathology team
- Provides laboratory leadership and general pathology coverage across two hospitals
- Specialty: Pathology
- Case Mix / Volume: Inpatient volumes slightly lower than outpatient
- Operational Expectation: Workflows structured to meet around-the-clock diagnostic turnaround times
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Laboratory Systems: APLIS (WSI platform)
- Services: In-house molecular pathology and advanced testing capabilities
- Clinical Collaboration: Close communication with surgeons and oncologists; participation in tumor boards
- Technology: Whole slide scanners and telepathology platforms
- Call: Shared pathology call rotation
- Reporting to: Dr. Wedel (Medical Director), Terri Brown (Director)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
- Eligible for Nebraska medical licensure (or active eligibility)
- $400K+Production
- Productivity Bonus: Eligible based on performance
