Job Title: Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN)
Location: Far Rockaway, NY
Salary: $375,000 - $410,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and mission-driven Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join our community-based hospital in New York City. This role provides a balanced mix of outpatient care and operative gynecology, serving a highly diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive care and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine exams, prenatal care, and preventive services
Perform a full scope of gynecologic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and open techniques
Manage labor and delivery, including on-call responsibilities as required
Deliver patient-centered care that reflects cultural sensitivity and addresses health disparities within the community
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including midwives, nurses, and subspecialists
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support best practices in women's health
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active or eligible for medical licensure in New York State
Demonstrated experience in both outpatient and operative OB/GYN care
Strong commitment to community-based practice and caring for diverse populations
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques
Multilingual skills (Spanish or other languages strongly preferred)
