Full job description

The Executive Director for Teaching, Learning and Accreditation is a full-time administrative position reporting to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. This position coordinates the activities of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), providing leadership and vision for the continued empowerment of teaching and learning at the College. This position is also responsible for managing and overseeing the accreditation process, assisting faculty in meeting accreditation standards in both regional and specialized academic department accreditations and administrations.

Example of Duties:

  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to examine research findings and determine the professional development needs of faculty.
  • Plan and develop a CTL schedule of offerings.
  • Establish and sustain faculty mentoring and coaching initiatives.
  • Facilitate the New Faculty Orientation Program.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop an online repository of best practices.
  • Promote the use of learning strategies and other faculty to student collaboration.
  • Manage and oversee regional and specialized accreditation process at the College.
  • Evaluate College compliance documentation with established accreditation standards.
  • Identify non-compliant areas and implement corrective measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President.

Qualifications :

  • Ph.D. in Assessment and Research or research field
  • Teaching experience in higher education required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with regional and/or specialized accreditation required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: Salary is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000.
