Lead Twos Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our twos program is all about discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.

As a Twos Teacher, you’ll guide curious little learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth — all within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.

What You’ll Do

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
• Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
• Partner with your co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Have experience working with children in the 2–3-year-old age group.
• Be warm, patient, and able to build strong relationships with both children and families.
• Be dependable and willing to step into a leadership role alongside the current teaching team.
• Have strong classroom management skills and be proactive in preventing challenging behaviors through engaging activities and consistent routines.
• Communicate effectively with families and fellow teachers.
• Be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices and comfortable implementing curriculum while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Be flexible, energetic, and someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers as they develop independence.
