Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

• New Grads accepted
• First Time Travelers accepted

Assignment Details

• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Patient population: Outpatient Ortho
• Expected productivity: 60 visits per week
• Expected patient volume: 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow up visits expected
• Float to other clinics: No

Location Highlights

Scottsboro, Alabama offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel options. Lake Guntersville is about 10 miles away and features boating, fishing, and waterfront trails, while Cathedral Caverns State Park is within a short drive and is known for its large cave entrance and guided tours. The city is along the Tennessee River and sits roughly 40 miles from Huntsville, giving travelers access to shopping, dining, and air service through Huntsville International Airport. Scottsboro also includes the Unclaimed Baggage store, a nationally known attraction, and provides a quieter small-town setting with convenient road access via U.S. Route 72.
