Accounting Associate (AP)

Ontic’s Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. With over 1,800 employees across four time zones and ten sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace. 

Our team is looking for an Accounting Associate (AP) to join them. You will report to the Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC. 

To be considered for the Accounting Associate (AP) opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: 

·       High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

·       2+ years of experience in accounts payable

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

As an Accounting Associate (AP), you will: 

·       Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

·       Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts

·       Process employee expenses via SAP Concur

·       Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

·       Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable files and records

·       Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation

·       Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues

Compensation Pay Range

Depending on Experience $25-$28/hour
