Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1970 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Mercyhealth.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Performs routine respiratory therapies for cardiopulmonary treatment, diagnosis, and evaluation; completes emergency rounds, oxygen saturation checks, and oxygen and aerosol rounds; initiates, monitors, evaluates, and weans invasive and non-invasive ventilation; follows therapist-driven protocols for medication delivery and oxygen administration; sets up, calibrates, and troubleshoots mechanical ventilators, noninvasive ventilation devices, therapeutic bronchoscopies, and pulmonary function screens; responds to emergent care situations and assists with resuscitation, airway management, and ventilator support; transports adult patients on mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices to intrahospital procedures and testing; provides care for pediatric and adult patients when assigned.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Rotating holiday schedule.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
