Lifestyle Photogtrapher/Editor

WNCT 9 On Your Side and Eastern North Carolina's CW in Greenville, NC is searching for a Lifestyle Videographer/Editor to join our team and work directly with our lifestyle show. The Lifestyle Videographer/Editor will produce compelling visual news video and live shots by utilizing their artistic, technical expertise and composition skills.

• Capture video and edit stories for daily newscasts and lifestyle show
• Collaborate with producers on video elements of newscasts and lifestyle show
• Shoot and edit news video stories, including daily news and lifestyle show segments
• Maintain and operate camera equipment as well as company vehicle safely and efficiently
• Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics and shot requirements
• Sets up, composes and executes video shots
• Edits video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content
• Performs other duties as assigned

 Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in broadcasting, journalism, or related field preferred
• Experience operating video recording equipment
• Ability to edit raw video to newscast form in a manner to complete the story for the viewer
• Video photography experience preferred
• Must be detail-oriented
• Maintains positive work environment through active team participation and cooperation with co-workers in all departments
• Responds positively to feedback
• Present professional image as a representation of the station at all times
