About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local operations based in Myerstown, PA. This is a temp-to-hire position.

Pay & Schedule Details

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays; 1 AM or 1 PM start time
  • Pay: $30/hr during orientation, $24/hr + components after training
  • Quarterly Performance/Safety Bonus
  • 40 hours vacation
  • $50 for each tarp secured
  • $25/hr for Detention
  • $25/hr for Breakdown
  • $35/night for Per Diem if necessary

  • Freight / Load Type: Roofing Materials, Flat Metal, Lumber
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Strapping and Tarping
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Minimum Requirements

  • License: CDL A
  • Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
