The Inpatient Part Time Registered Dietitian I works with the health care team and provides medical nutrition therapy for the inpatient setting; assesses patients’ nutrition risk, nutritional needs, and recommends appropriate nutrition intervention; provides nutrition education to patients and their families and documents patient’s progress in the medical record; works with Nutrition Services department to ensure patients are receiving appropriate foods for the diet order; and precepts and coordinates learning experiences for dietetic interns.

Shift: Limited (24 hours per week), Day Shift, Weekend Work Required

Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center , Baltimore, MD 21224

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed as a Dietitian-Nutritionist in Maryland (or acquire license within 1 month of hire).
• 2 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 30.31/hour - Maximum 50.05/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
