This position is a per course, adjunct position because the department needs someone to fill in for a

permanent faculty member who will be going on medical leave from mid-October through the end of Fall 2026. The course is Italian 444B: Mamma Mia! This replacement is considered essential since the semester has already begun and the class is full. Nobody currently on staff can fill in so we need to hire from outside the university. We require an instructor with a PhD who has experience teaching at the university level and who has expertise in Medieval/Renaissance Italy .
