Full job description

Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking a CAD Technician to join their team. As a CAD Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting product development and prototyping teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Erlanger, KY

Pay Range: $22-27/hr based on experience

Shift: 1st shift Monday- Friday

What's the Job?

  • Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Translate sketches, concepts, and engineering inputs into detailed 3D models
  • Prepare and optimize files for additive manufacturing, including orientation and support considerations
  • Set up, operate, and monitor 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS, or similar technologies)
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of 3D printing equipment

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in CAD, engineering technology, or related field
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks (preferred), Fusion 360, or similar
  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and slicing software
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
