Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Status: PRN

At Baptist Health La Grange, EMS operate both as hospital transport and within the 911 services system of Oldham County.  Outstanding equipment, compensation, work environment, and benefits are offered for our positions.

Job Summary:

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role in providing emergency medical care and 
transportation to patients in need. This position requires a high level of professionalism, compassion, and medical expertise to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during critical situations.

Requirements:

  • EMT-B certification required through the Kentucky Board of EMS.

  • Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

  • Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) within 6 months of hire.
