Experience:

• 60 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; some certifications will require a bachelor’s degree. Echocardiography (ECG) certification preferred.

Unit Details: Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and function; creates images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels to assess heart function and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists, performing the technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings, and reporting them to cardiologists. Sets up ultrasound equipment, attaches electrodes, documents cardiac data and measurements, prepares and positions patients, verifies wave signals, and records images. Interviews patients and reviews medical records to adapt sonographic techniques; performs echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions. Maintains equipment and inventories, restocks supplies, reviews patient schedules, sets up recording equipment, and enters patient information into appropriate systems.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift starts are 7:00 am or 8:00 am. No set days of the week; schedule will rotate. On-call 2-3 days per week.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
