This position reports to:
Integrated Production Unit Manager__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the ELSP Critical Power in Richmond VA.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Associate degree (mechanical/electrical engineering preferred) and 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production environment OR combination of education and work experience.
• Recent professional experience focusing on production quality management activities, from inspections and audits to performance monitoring, and knows how to drive results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus, but more importantly, you’re eager to learn and apply these approaches to make processes better.
• Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection and analytical skills
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence and align both internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexible to work in any shifts.
