Senior Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to support the migration of enterprise platforms from Broadcom Atlas 2 to Atlas 3 PCIe switch technology. The role will focus on firmware development, platform integration, validation, troubleshooting, and sustainment to ensure compatibility and support next-generation platform capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support migration from Atlas 2 to Atlas 3 PCIe switch architecture across multiple platforms.
• Develop, modify, and validate firmware to ensure feature parity and platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and architecture teams on board bring-up and system integration.
• Support PCIe switch configuration, DMA routing, GPU-to-GPU communication, and interoperability testing.
• Perform low-level debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Support platform qualification, deployment, and firmware sustainment activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing Atlas 2-based platforms during the migration.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in firmware or embedded systems development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with Embedded Linux.
• Strong understanding of PCIe architecture, PCIe switches, and server platform firmware.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-software integration and low-level debugging.
• Experience with data center, storage, AI, HPC, or similar enterprise platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Broadcom PCIe switch technologies, including Atlas/PEX.
• Knowledge of UEFI, BMC/XClarity, Redfish, CXL, GPUs, and accelerator-based systems.
• Experience working with OEM server platforms and platform validation teams.
