Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for performing basic assembly duties under the direction of the Assembler II & Assembler I, to understanding mechanical and electrical assembly tasks across various product lines in accordance with drawings and specifications provided. This role involves assembling units, wiring panels, routing cables, and installing equipment into cabinets and enclosures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, performing wiring tasks accurately and safely.
• Conduct mechanical assembly work, including lifting, climbing, pulling, and installing equipment into cabinets and enclosures.
• Route, bend, and secure cabling per the drawings and layout requirements.
• Perform both basic and more advanced assembly functions, depending on task complexity and experience level.
• Work independently on standard assignments while remaining open to supervision, guidance, and learning opportunities from experienced personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times.
Skills and Experience
• Mechanical aptitude: experience with hand tools required.
• Experience as a car mechanic is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Physical ability to stand and bend for prolonged periods on a concrete floor, and safely perform lifting, climbing, and cable-routing tasks.
