Estimator – Kansas City, MO

Estimator Requirements & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in electrical construction or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field; applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Estimator Preferred Background & Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required) and Trimble Accubid v16 (preferred).
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for project estimation.
- Strong research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
Estimator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assemble material and labor costs for client proposals on construction projects.
- Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre-qualification tasks.
- Analyze and insert specialty and standard equipment and material pricing into estimates.
- Confirm estimates meet schedule protocols and specifications of scope.
- Evaluate and condition subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Review plans and specifications for the completion of estimates.
