Position Overview
Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in our Deerfield Beach, Florida facility. As a core member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional rehabilitative care to patients, ultimately enhancing their overall recovery journey. Work Environment
The role of the Physical Therapist Assistant will be performed onsite in a hospital setting. Our Deerfield Beach facility provides a supportive environment filled with advanced rehabilitation tools and equipment, allowing you to effectively assist in patient recovery processes. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art physical therapy tools, and you will gain hands-on experience working alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing customized treatment plans that address individual patient goals and limitations.
- Regularly monitor and document patients’ progress, providing updates and insights to the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure effective treatment adjustments.
- Instruct patients in the safe execution of therapeutic exercises and functional activities designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical performance.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during all treatment sessions, adhering to hospital safety protocols and organizational standards.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that enhance the patient experience and promote effective treatment outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and state licensing requirements to protect patient confidentiality and ensure high standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will engage with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, neuromuscular disorders, and geriatric rehabilitation needs. Your compassionate and proactive approach will be vital in helping patients navigate their rehabilitation challenges while fostering their motivation and dedication to recovery.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possession of a current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and documentation abilities, are essential for effective collaboration.
- A patient-centered mindset, with compassion and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience working in a hospital or acute care environment is preferred, providing exposure to a variety of physical therapy techniques and patient cases.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
