Mechanical Journeyperson

General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson Toolmaker to support high-volume automotive manufacturing in Detroit, MI. In this role, you will build, repair and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs and fixtures that keep production running safely and efficiently. You will interpret blueprints and CAD data, set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, and use precision measuring tools to meet tight tolerances. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will troubleshoot tooling issues, perform preventive maintenance and help improve quality, uptime and safety in a culture that values integrity, inclusion and innovation.
