Surgery physician employment in North Carolina : Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others, years. Some are far from home, others are local. - Call only coverage -- on-call responsibilities with rounding
- Avg per 24-hr call: 4 phone consults, 4 patients seen, 4 admissions
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Call coverage for unassigned patients
- Laparoscopic surgery skills required -- appy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
- Breast surgery, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery skills required
- GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
- Pediatric surgery and trauma experience preferred
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
- We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
- We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
- Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
