Job Summary:
The Fixed Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coating services at our retail center. This includes ensuring that all vehicles are prepared and serviced in a timely manner, managing vehicle logistics, maintaining adequate levels of primary raw materials and consumables, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained. The primary objective of this position is to maximize the efficiency of the services provided, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
Core Duties
Managing Paint Protection Film, Window Tint, and Ceramic Coating Services: Oversee and coordinate the application of paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coatings, ensuring that all services meet the company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Ensuring Timely Vehicle Preparation: Ensure that all vehicles are washed and prepared in a timely manner, ready for service as per the schedule. This includes managing the workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
Preparing Materials and Supplies: Ensure that all materials and supplies are prepared in advance for indicative service schedules. This includes ordering, inventory management, and ensuring that all necessary items are available for the smooth operation of services.
Managing Vehicle Logistics: Oversee the movement and logistics of vehicles within the retail center, ensuring efficient and orderly handling of vehicles from arrival to departure.
Maintaining Adequate Levels of Primary Raw Materials and Consumables: Monitor and manage inventory levels of primary raw materials and consumables, ensuring that they are at adequate levels to meet service demands. This includes conducting regular inventory checks and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishments.
Managing Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment used in the application of paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coatings is properly maintained and in good working condition. This includes scheduling regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs as needed.
Ensure timely and effective communication with Service Coordinator and Store Manager to maintain project alignment and achieve operational goals.
Assist in the hiring, training, and counseling of all Technicians.
Performing Other Duties as Required: Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall operations and success of the retail center.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years' experience in automotive industry (background in paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coating services specifically) Management experience is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve operational goals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring that all services meet the company's standards of excellence.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and suppliers.
Proficiency in using computer software and systems for inventory management, scheduling, and reporting.
