About the Clinician‘s Workday
The vascular surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage one weekend per month, beginning Friday at 5:00 PM and concluding Monday at 7:00 AM, with daily rounding on Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, shared with the NVS APP. The clinician will respond in a timely manner to pages and calls to assess emergent need, provide inpatient and ER consults as indicated, and perform operative intervention as required for patient care. Non-emergent needs may be deferred to NVS staff on the following business day. Board certification in Vascular Surgery and recent inpatient experience are required for consideration.
