Responsibilities:The Corporate Medical Staff Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the credentialing process within the Medical Staff Offices across the Prime Healthcare system as assigned and will report directly to the Corporate Executive Director of Medical Staff Services. This role will involve managing and mentoring a team of Medical Staff Coordinators, ensuring the efficient processing of initial applications and interim privileges, and maintaining effective communication between medical staff committees, departments, and hospital services. The Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring that the credentialing process meets regulatory standards and supports high-quality service to practitioners and hospital staff.
Please note: this position will travel amongst our IL facilities and support based on needs. This is not offered for remote work.

Qualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or CPMSM required within one year of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience Medical Staff Services Department and/or acute care hospital experience required.
- Must have strong computer, communication, and writing skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical staff services and/or acute care hospital experience, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $99,507.20 - $129,084.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
