Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• ADN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years critical care experience required. 5 years of experience inserting PICC lines utilizing 3CG. Expertise in utilizing ultrasound guidance for vascular access. Ability to troubleshoot DIV. Compliance with ANTT technique and infection prevention standards is required.

Required Credentials: PICC certification is required.

Preferred Credentials: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associates or Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred

Unit Details: Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. PICC line insertion uses 3CG. Vascular access responsibilities include triaging site appropriateness for site selection. Patient care is individualized to the procedure and type of anesthesia, including pre-operative and postoperative assessment and education. The role supports Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), including patient testing and evaluation of PAT orders for appropriateness and potential omissions based on the proposed surgery, patient age, and current health.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. No call.

14 days maximum time off
