Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed CPO Driver Patrol in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential community areas, including entrances, roadways, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and assist with maintaining an orderly residential environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of correction, law enforcement, or military experience and/or degree in criminal justice
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
