Full job description

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work 6 months with a possibility of extension at a facility near Portsmouth, VA. Must have VA license.


  • Shift Description: Night, Weekend.
  • Shift: Standard 5, Night (8 Hours) 23:00 (Flexible) - 7:00 (Flexible).
  • ALL candidates are required to have OB experience and an Active Virginia license.
  • CALL: MUST be open to Weeknight and/ or weekend call 1:10
  • Skills Needed: Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Cases: Adults Required, Pediatric Preferred, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases, Complex Vascular (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Ventilation management, Insertion of central and/or arterial line.
  • No: Open Heart Anesthesia, Thoracic cases, Pain management procedures, PA catheter.
  • VA license required.
  • ALL candidates are required to have OB experience and an Active Virginia license.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Crednetialing: 90 - 120 days.
  • $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
  • $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
