Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1790 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience preferred but not required.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Daily parking is $15+/day. On- and off-campus garages and lots offer monthly parking passes ranging from $95 - $120.

Unit Details: Focus is on liver diseases. Cares for acute-care COVID patients across all specialties.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options include 7a-7p and 7p-7a; must arrive 15 minutes early for shift change. Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Holidays are rotated with permanent staff.

Floating Requirements: First to float. For floating assignments, must have basic EKG experience and know how to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips; all units have telemetry.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days. Maximum consecutive days off: 5

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
