How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver advanced, direct nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in alignment with established NICU policies and clinical protocols.

  • Track, document, and communicate subtle changes in neonatal condition, vital signs, and development to physicians and the care team.

  • Serve as the primary coordinator across neonatologists, specialists, and therapies to carry out complex medical orders and optimize clinical outcomes.

  • Assess post-acute needs and partner with families and the care team to prepare safe, comprehensive discharge plans for delicate infants.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • At least one year of NICU RN experience
