We are seeking a strategic and delivery-oriented Senior Product Owner to define product direction, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and guide cross-functional teams from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.

The Senior Product Owner will serve as the connective tissue between customers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership. This role is accountable for maximizing product value by maintaining a clear product vision, prioritizing the roadmap and backlog, and ensuring that delivered capabilities solve meaningful customer and business problems.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, goals, and near-term priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns customer needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and organizational strategy.
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring work is clearly described, appropriately prioritized, and ready for delivery.
  • Translate business goals, user feedback, research, and data into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, design, architecture, data, operations, marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality product increments.
  • Facilitate discovery activities, including customer interviews, workflow analysis, competitive research, journey mapping, and solution validation.
  • Make informed trade-offs among scope, value, risk, cost, quality, and time to market.
  • Establish shared understanding of requirements and actively resolve ambiguity, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Participate in and support Agile ceremonies, including refinement, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate releases and ensure stakeholders understand scope, timing, readiness, risks, and expected impact.
  • Define success measures and use product analytics, customer feedback, operational insights, and experimentation to guide decisions.
  • Champion usability, accessibility, security, privacy, reliability, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate product decisions, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to audiences ranging from delivery teams to executive leadership.
  • Mentor and coach product owners and contribute to consistent product management practices across the organization.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 4+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Establishing a clear, outcome-oriented roadmap aligned to business and customer priorities.
  • Improving backlog quality, prioritization transparency, and delivery readiness.
  • Building strong working relationships across business, technology, and operations teams.
  • Launching valuable product improvements with measurable adoption, satisfaction, efficiency, revenue, or risk outcomes.
  • Creating a feedback loop that consistently turns customer and operational insights into product decisions.
  • Increasing stakeholder confidence through clear communication, dependable decision-making, and visible progress.
  • Experience with digital products, customer-facing platforms, retail, or enterprise technology.
  • Experience with product analytics, experimentation, customer research, and outcome-based road mapping.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, data products, integrations, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience working in a scaled Agile or complex enterprise environment.
  • Product management or Agile certification, such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent.
  • Experience mentoring product professionals or leading product practice improvements.

* Position is onsite and based in Irving TX and Enon, Ohio.

Pay: $95,000.00 -$152,500.00 Annual
