Job Summary:
The Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing output. This role supports daily production activities, troubleshoots basic equipment issues, performs routine inspections, and ensures compliance with all company and regulatory standards.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $23.00-$26.00/hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time and will not require sponsorship either now or in the future to obtain an employment visa.
The Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing output. This role supports daily production activities, troubleshoots basic equipment issues, performs routine inspections, and ensures compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Point to point soldering and wiring
- Assemble/test parts using blueprints and schematics
- Test functionality of soldered sensors
- Assemble prototypes in conjunction with project engineer
- Follow documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and proper functioning of parts
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Follow all safety policies, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, quality, and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, including crimping and soldering
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Previous experience work on assembly under a microscope
- Experienced in micro-assembly operations
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and safety documents
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to follow, understand and write written procedures in English
- Lift, push, or pull up to 40 Ibs
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work on site, 5 days a week from our Marlborough location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Soldering skills certified to IPC J-STD-001 standards preferred
- Lean knowledge
- Fine pitch skills a plus
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery noise, moving equipment, and production materials
