Full job description

GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic A Level to inspect, diagnose, and repair a fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment supporting waste and recycling operations. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, electrical and brake systems, and complete DOT-compliant inspections. You’ll use diagnostic software and shop tools, maintain accurate service records, and ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards. Work closely with operations to minimize downtime in a fast-paced, essential services environment with training and growth opportunities.
