Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active state Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment in Kansas. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with common SNF equipment and procedures, such as transfers, gait training, therapeutic modalities, and documentation in electronic medical records. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience treating geriatric populations preferred.
