The Senior Technology Advisor provides technical leadership, project oversight, and strategic guidance for large-scale digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and fiber network programs. This role supports the planning, design, quality assurance, project delivery, and business growth objectives of AECOM's Technology Solutions Group, serving hyperscale, data center, utility, and enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of outside plant (OSP) and fiber optic infrastructure programs.
- Provide technical oversight and QA/QC leadership for engineering, GIS, and telecommunications design teams.
- Advise clients and project teams on fiber network architecture, design standards, constructability, and risk mitigation.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams across engineering, GIS, project management, and field operations.
- Support proposal development, technical approaches, scope definition, staffing strategies, and client presentations.
- Develop and implement quality management processes, training programs, and operational best practices.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders, contractors, utility owners, and permitting agencies to ensure successful project execution.
- Review project schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and delivery performance to maintain project objectives.
- Mentor technical staff and project managers while supporting workforce development and onboarding initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage digital tools, automation, GIS platforms, and AI-enabled workflows to improve project delivery efficiency.

- Prior experience in planning, design, and delivery of outside plant (OSP) and fiber optic infrastructure programs.
- Experience in all cycles of business development, pursuit and capture strategy, client management and client development.
