This important, customer-focused position acts as the point of contact for clinical leadership and staff regarding supply needs. The manager role oversees the distribution of medical supplies to inpatient and outpatient units throughout the campus and leads a team of Logistics Technicians as well as the equipment managements group.We're looking for someone organized and flexible with strong relationship building and problem solving skills.
This position offers Monday-Friday day hours with rotating on call weekends.
Summary
Provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of daily supply chain operations, ensuring efficient supply delivery, replenishment, and management of supplies and equipment to support organizational needs and customer service objectives.Job Description
Coordinates the timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery, shipping, and receiving of materials and supplies to meet customer needs and service expectations. Assists with workforce management activities, including staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and day-to-day operational support. Maintains appropriate inventory levels within Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) locations, ensuring all stock areas are accurately replenished and adequately supplied to support operational requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency with six to eight years of relevant work experience, along with proven leadership skills required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as office and/or facility related equipment and strong communication and organizational skills required.
Valid drivers license required.
