<p style="text-align:center">Start your Career with Volt!</p> <p>Volt is hiring a <b>Manufacturing Associate</b> in <b>Temecula, CA</b>.</p> <p>As a <b>Manufacturing Associate</b> you will:</p> <ul> <li>Pull products from inventory and assemble components into kits and kit sub-assemblies using quality system documents. (These tasks will be carried out under supervision until area supervisor determines that competency has been demonstrated.)</li> <li>Label components and kits accurately, under supervision</li> <li>Perform quality control checks during and after assembly to ensure all kits meet company standards.</li> <li>Document completed kit assemblies in the inventory management system.</li> <li>Organize and maintain an orderly workspace for efficient assembly and inventory retrieval.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any identified discrepancies or issues with kit components.</li> <li>Assist in developing and implementing improvements to the kit assembly process to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to all safety and cleanliness protocols in the assembly area.</li> <li>Setup and operation of the semi-automated dispensing, capping and labeling equipment.</li> <li>Documentation of processes, lot numbers, and batch records.</li> <li>Assist in monitoring inventory of supplies</li> <li>Monitor inventory levels of chemicals, buffers, and associated supplies to ensure timely replenishment.</li> <li>Perform calibration and maintenance of dispensing equipment to maintain operational efficiency and product quality.</li> <li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines for the handling, preparation, and dispensing of chemicals and buffers.</li> <li>Assist in the creation and review of documentation related to dispensing operations, including SOPs, equipment logs, and batch records.</li> <li>Work with the Quality Assurance team to address deviations or inconsistencies in the dispensing process.</li> <li>Preparation of orders for shipment according to invoices</li> <li>Pick and package orders</li> <li>Documentation of lot numbers and quantities of orders on invoice</li> <li>Coordinate with the Customer Service department and Manufacturing department to check inventory to verify availability of needed products</li> <li>Notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager of product shortages</li> <li>Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices</li> <li>Coordinate with the Customer Service department to process replacement and back orders</li> <li>Monitor packaging material supplies and notify the Manufacturing and Production Manager when materials reach the restocking point</li> <li>Unload/receive material as required</li> <li>Perform housekeeping duties in areas assigned</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:center">This is a full time 6 month assignment opportunity!</p> <p style="text-align:center">Shift: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>The Ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Immunology, Virology, or Molecular Biology preferable.</li> <li>Preferably 1 year of manufacturing/assembly and shipping experience.</li> <li>Proficient using computers</li> <li>High school diploma is required.</li> <li>Associate's or bachelor’s degree Preferable.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:center"><b>Pay Rate $21.00 -$23.00 per hour</b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
