Call only -- beeper call with 20-minute response time required
Call ratio: 1:2
4 - 5 phone consults, 4 - 5 patients seen, 4 - 5 admissions per 24-hour call
Inpatient only setting -- rounding and admissions required
General CV/thoracic surgery -- open and endoscopic procedures required
CABG (on pump and off pump), valvular repair, aneurysm repair required
TAVR, LVAD, AICD placement, lung resection including VATs required
Bronchoscopy, vent management, esophagus and diaphragm surgeries required
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal

From $375.00 to $450.00 hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details."
