Informatica IDMC Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Developer with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating PowerCenter workflows to IDMC, developing scalable data integration solutions, and supporting enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Strong understanding of Informatica Cloud architecture, Secure Agents, and hybrid/cloud deployment models.
• Experience migrating PowerCenter ETL jobs to IDMC/IICS.
• Experience developing and maintaining AI/ML-enabled data pipelines supporting analytics, model training, and intelligent applications.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments, organizations, and sub-organizations.
• Knowledge of data replication and synchronization across S3-compatible object storage, local file systems, and NAS.
• Familiarity with Operational Insights, cloud monitoring, and AI-driven observability is preferred.
• Experience in ETL development, data integration, and data transformation best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Informatica PowerCenter workflows and mappings to IDMC.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and transformation pipelines using Informatica IDMC.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver project tasks and data transformation solutions.
• Develop and implement transformation flows across multiple platform tenants.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support CI/CD processes for Informatica deployments across multiple environments.
• Conduct research and performance tuning to improve IDMC/IICS job efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data integration and workflow issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, project discussions, and technical design reviews.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and successful implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data modernization projects.
• Knowledge of AI/ML data engineering workflows and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
