Service Air is looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Silverhill, Alabama . If you're an experienced technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems while providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you.
Sales experience is a plus! We value technicians who can educate homeowners on repair and replacement options without using high-pressure sales tactics.
What You'll Do
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
* Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
* Explain repair recommendations and system options clearly to customers.
* Identify opportunities for equipment replacement and indoor air quality solutions when appropriate.
* Complete service tickets accurately using company software.
* Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
* Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
* EPA Certification required.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Sales or comfort advisor experience is a plus.
* Ability to educate customers and build trust.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
