Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1930 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with surgical patients.

Unit Details: Patient population includes total hip and total knee replacement, bariatric surgery, urology surgical patients, spine surgery, and GYN procedures. CNA-to-patient ratio: 1:9. Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation is every other weekend; the unit currently operates Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday needs. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: Minimal floating is required; the clinician could float to the medical-surgical unit if needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
