Unit Manager RN or LPN

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a passion for excellence in resident care to fill the position of Unit Manager at our large 166-bed North Canton facility. As a critical member of our leadership team, you will provide assistance to the Director of Nursing in the planning, implementation, direction, and evaluation of operations pertaining to the nursing services department.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, implementing, directing, and evaluating operations pertaining to the nursing services department
Provide support and education to the Nursing Staff
Maintain a collaborative and efficient workplace with high attention to quality standards
Utilize outstanding clinical assessment/judgement skills to make informed decisions
Develop and lead a high-performing nursing team
Foster a positive team mindset and excellent communication and listening skills
Requirements:
3-5 years of nursing management experience, preferably in long-term care
Strong clinical assessment/judgement skills
Wound care management experience (highly desired)
Excellent communication and listening skills
High organization standards
Experience with state survey process
Knowledge of nursing home regulations
Ability to lead and develop nursing staff members
Collaborative and positive team mindset
Reports To: Director of Nursing (DON)
