What You’ll Get To Do:
- Provide leadership in development and implementation of plant safety initiatives
- Oversee the optimization of production equipment, including kiln, grinding mills, and related processes and inputs including raw materials and fuels
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager
- Coordinate refractory related activities, including selection, ordering, removal, installation, and maintenance of refractory history
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
- Cement and/or heavy industrial setting experience required
- Previous leadership experience is an asset
- Proven communication and relationship management skills
- Problem solving skills and multi-discipline thinking
- Excellent working knowledge with a variety of software
- Safety and maintenance exposure is an asset
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- AutoCad experience nice to have
Work Environment:
- Role operates in a manufacturing location where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
