Job Overview:
As a Scrum Master, you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver agile, high-velocity software capabilities to our Intelligence Community customer in Springfield, VA. Your leadership will keep development teams unblocked, focused, and continuously improving – driving our commitment to disciplined agile delivery and mission-ready software.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Guide the scrum team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team
- Organize and facilitate sprint planning, release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile events
- Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management
- Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria
- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs
- Assist with internal and external communication
- Assist product owners with backlog grooming
- Assist the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
- Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the team's ability to deliver assigned goals
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
- Promote continuous improvement and help teams increase velocity
- Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, and innovation
- Collaborate with fellow scrum masters to promote best practices
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience
